In recent years, with the continuous approval of a variety of biological agents for clinical application, the treatment goal of psoriasis has even been raised to clear or almost clear skin lesions, and patients have more treatment options, but there is no consensus on how to evaluate the comprehensive treatment goal Opinion, in order to promote the management of chronic diseases and improve the compliance rate of biologics treatment for patients with psoriasis in China, the Psoriasis Group of the Dermatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association led a number of experts in the field of dermatology based on evidence-based medical evidence and the clinical real world As a result, the "Expert Consensus on Up-to-standard Treatment of Psoriasis Biological Agents" (hereinafter referred to as the "Consensus") was successfully held on the afternoon of December 2, 2022 in Hefei, Anhui Province. The conference was a combination of online and offline models.

Conference starts

The conference was hosted by Professor Kuang Yehong from Xiangya Hospital of Central South University. Professor Kuang Yehong introduced the 26 dermatologists who participated in the formulation of the "Consensus"; the two initiators of the "Consensus", Professor Zhang Xuejun from the First Affiliated Hospital of Anhui Medical University and Professor Chen Xiang from Xiangya Hospital of Central South University; the status of the consensus submissions; and the press release process. The conference started, and Chen Xiang from Xiangya Hospital of Central South University was invited to give a speech. Professor Chen Xiang first thanked Professor Zhang Xuejun for his suggestion to formulate the "Consensus", and for holding the psoriasis conference for six consecutive years, providing dermatology clinicians with medical practice guidelines for the benefit of psoriasis patients, and finally looking forward to and wishing "Consensus" Consensus was successfully published. Then, the initiator Professor Zhang Xuejun delivered a speech, thanking Professor Chen Xiang for leading everyone to complete the "Consensus", thanking the editorial board members for their hard work, thanking all dermatologists for their efforts in implementing the "Consensus", and briefly introducing the birth process of the "Consensus" and meaning. Finally, Professor Kuang Yehong reviewed the process of the "Consensus", introduced the novelty of the "Consensus", and the process of the whole process of psoriasis management.

"Consensus" has been submitted in both Chinese and English versions. Chairman and chief expert of the Psoriasis Special Committee of the Chinese Medical Association Dermatology Branch, Professor Zhang Xuejun, Institute of Dermatology (First Affiliated Hospital), Anhui Medical University, China Professor Chen Xiang, member of the Standing Committee of the 15th Committee of the Dermatology Branch of the Medical Association, and the Department of Dermatology, Xiangya Hospital, Central South University, is the co-corresponding author, and Professor Kuang Yehong, Department of Dermatology, Xiangya Hospital, Central South University is the main author. The "Consensus" of the psoriasis treatment standard proposed the ideal and acceptable goals of biologics treatment from four dimensions: clearing skin lesions, improving patients' quality of life, screening and managing psoriasis comorbidities, and ensuring drug safety. It is divided into short-term and long-term goals to help the full course management of psoriasis and benefit patients in an all-round way.
