There are 7 million patients with psoriasis (psoriasis) in China, of which more than 1 million are children with psoriasis. In order to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in children in China, guide clinical dermatologists in rational drug use, and benefit children with psoriasis in China, on May 30, 2020, the online start-up meeting for the compilation of "guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in children in China" organized by Anhui Feirui Institute of Dermatology and Xi'an YANGSEN company was successful The guideline will be jointly compiled by more than 20 experts with authority and rich experience in clinical diagnosis, treatment and basic research of psoriasis and children's psoriasis, organized by the psoriasis special committee and children's special committee of Dermatology and Venereology branch of Chinese Medical Association.         Professor Zhang Xuejun, director of the International Association of psoriasis Society (IPC), international coordinator of psoriasis surveillance (GPA), head of psoriasis group of China Medical Association, and director of the 2018 edition of the guide to the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in China, said that the incidence rate of psoriasis among children and adolescents has been increasing in recent years, compared with adult psoriasis. Psoriasis in children has its own characteristics, It is easy to be misdiagnosed, and due to the younger age, the safety and effectiveness of drugs should be fully considered in the selection of treatment methods. Treatment can not be completely equivalent to adult psoriasis. However, there is a lack of diagnosis and treatment guidelines for children psoriasis in China, which makes professional doctors not suitable. Therefore, it is necessary to focus on the etiology and pathogenesis, diagnosis and classification, and Western treatment of pediatric psoriasis It is very necessary to compile a comprehensive and systematic guideline for the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in children, including treatment, diagnosis and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, medical education and prevention.

Professor Zhang Xibao, consultant of psoriasis group (Special Committee) of Dermatology and Venereology branch of Chinese Medical Association, director of Institute of Dermatology, Guangzhou Medical University, as the host and secretary-general of the guideline, firstly made clear the following key points: 1. What kind of evidence-based medicine evidence classification standard should be adopted; 2. Supplement and modify the preliminary guideline directory; 3. Division of work among Editorial Committee members Mode, specific division of labor, the approximate number of words in the guide, etc.

Other experts from the editorial board also put forward their own opinions on the compilation of guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis in China. Professor Ma Lin, head of the school of pediatric and special diseases (CVD), the Chinese Medical Association's dermatology and Venerology branch, pointed out that the incidence rate of psoriasis in children has gradually increased in recent years. Nearly 50% of psoriatic patients have been in childhood. The preparation of guidelines for psoriasis in children is very meaningful. It's also necessary. However, at this stage, there is not much evidence of evidence-based medicine for psoriasis in children, and the epidemiological data of psoriasis in children is relatively small. The current collected cases of psoriasis in children in China can be summarized to explore the prevalence of psoriasis in children in China, and form an article so that the guidelines can be quoted more persuasively. Professor Zheng Min, director of the international psoriasis Association (IPC) and head of the psoriasis group (Special Committee) of the dermatovenereology branch of the Chinese Medical Association, pointed out that the compilation of the guidelines should be noted Professor Zhang Chunlei pointed out that in the process of compiling the guidelines, we should refer to the internationally recognized evidence-based medicine evidence classification, and refer to the documents and materials with high evidence classification as far as possible. At the same time, the published guidelines of psoriasis for children in other countries and regions should be taken as a reference, and combined with China's national conditions, to develop a children's psoriasis guidelines with Chinese characteristics. There is still a lack of epidemiological data such as the prevalence rate of psoriasis in children in China. We can contact the domestic children's centers with large databases to collect the data, and preliminarily obtain the prevalence rate, supplement the vacancy of epidemiological data of children's psoriasis, which can provide important data reference for the compilation of the guidelines. Professor Cui Yong, vice president and director of Dermatology of China Japan Friendship Hospital, also suggested that In addition, Professor Li Yuzhen, Professor Zhang Chunlei, Professor Shi Yuling, Professor Yao Zhirong of Shanghai Xinhua Hospital and all experts present their opinions on the compilation of the guideline.
