        On the morning of September 17, the "Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Psoriasis in China" (2022 Edition) will be successfully held in Shanghai. This meeting is hosted by Anhui Medical University Sponsored by the Institute of Dermatology and the Psoriasis Committee of the Chinese Medical Association Dermatology and Venereology Branch, supported by L'Oréal (China) Co., Ltd., 16 editorial board members from all over the country participated in the seminar offline and online.

        This meeting was presided over by Professor Zheng Min, the consultant of the writing committee of this edition, and the chairman of the writing committee, Professor Zhang Xuejun, gave a speech first. Professor Zhang Xuejun pointed out that the purpose of this meeting is to discuss and improve the guidelines based on the first draft version of the guidelines compiled now. We need to write new treatment methods and drugs with evidence-based medical evidence into the guidelines, and update and update the 2018 version of the guidelines. Keeping pace with the times, we have compiled guidelines for the diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis with Chinese characteristics.

Professor Cui Yong, deputy chairman of the writing committee, pointed out that the first draft of this guide is relatively complete, and new drugs for psoriasis that are not on the market can be foreshadowed. At present, attention should be paid to doctors’ science education for patients, management of chronic diseases of psoriasis, and popular science response. Strengthen and refine. Professor Zhang Xibao, Secretary-General of the Writing Committee, pointed out that the first draft of this edition of the guideline incorporates the framework of the 2018 edition of the guideline and has been updated to some extent. It is hoped that experts at the meeting will put forward valuable suggestions for revisions based on their own experience and reference documents at home and abroad. The modification will be recorded and integrated in detail.

The first draft of this version of the outline reduced the content of unnecessary chapters, shortened the space and methods of clinically unused or infrequently used drugs. Consensus has been reached in terms of science, clinical classification, auxiliary diagnosis, emollients, comorbidities, combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, popular science, etc. However, further discussion and determination are needed in terms of the severity of psoriasis and the definition of the scope of use of biological agents.
